Summit Academy was founded to prepare future citizens to critically think about the world’s complex issues and to craft solutions to them.  Summit provides a dynamic learning environment for students excited to explore the world and is dedicated to the development of their intellect and character.  Small class sizes (12:1 ratio) allow for a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum that is individualized and responsive to the talents of each student. 

Encouraging of creative expression and risk-taking, Summit provides our inspired educators with intensive, ongoing professional development to ensure new ideas are consistently integrated into the classroom environment to help our students achieve their personal best.  

Summit Academy is located in Stanwood, WA.  We will welcome kindergarten, first, second and third grade students for the 2010-2011 academic year.  Our school will grow with our students into a full K-8 program. Summit Prep, our independent High School, will be in place by the time our students move into a secondary program.
